“Yes, I think that I could make that… i-if you would like to go with me, of course?” he didn’t want to assume and make an arse out of himself.

Arthur was already planning to pay for it, seeing as Alfred had already spent far too much on him already. The Brit felt as though he was going to have to get better at navigating New York pretty damn quickly if he was going to impress Alfred. He’d have to find out where he could take them for a night of Jazz music and dancing, somewhere to buy second-hand books and video games (Alfred seemed like a gamer to Arthur). He had to learn the city before he could truly woo Alfred.

Somehow, Arthur almost felt as though it was unfair.

“When and where should I meet you later, then?” his voice was smooth, faking indifference when really he was quite excited – not about the film, but about being with Alfred again. It would be nice. Just the two of them where there was no kissing limit. He smirked to himself a little, looking out of his window, staring at the world outside.

Alfred just eagerly nodded, still keeping his eyes on the road as he stopped for a red light. He couldn't help the grin on his lips. "Of course I would love to go with you! Tonight, right? I'm free tonight. There doesn't seem to be that much for tomorrow." He murmured, pleased with himself.

Honestly, the American was planning to pay for it himself since Arthur was deciding to tag along. It was his idea from the start so it was only right for him to pay! Right? Especially if it was a movie that Arthur might not necessarily particularly like. He knew that Arthur wasn't very aware of what was around New York City, but that was why he was with him! So he could show him around even more! Arthur should consider himself lucky for having someone like him around!

Though he was wondering if Arthur did have anything in mind. Hopefully it was something that they both could really enjoy. He wondered what his boss actually liked doing for dates.

"You know that Sunshine movie theatre next to the museum of contemporary arts close to your apartment? How about we go there?" He grinned. "It's close enough. Just call for a taxi and I'll be waiting there for you outside. I'll drive you back home afterwards, okay?"

Alfred simply smiled and he thought about it. "Let's go there and meet each other by 6:45 so we can buy anything we want to eat." He was admittedly a bit giddy.

He would have to talk to someone and ask where nice places were in the city, he thought absently. He’d have to come up with a cover story… his, uh, girlfriend was coming to visit? That sounded feasible. No one knew him here, after all. He would just have to hope that no one said anything to Alfred.

“Um,” Arthur made a face. “I think so…” getting a taxi sounded like the safest idea, to be honest. There was no way that he’d be able to find his way there by foot (which would have been much better for the environment. He caught sight of a couple out of the window, holding hands and smiling about something or other. A part of him turned his nose up at the public display of affection, but another part of him wanted to have the same thing. He wanted to be able to feel comfortable to hold Alfred’s hand in public, without worrying about being stared at or being overly affectionate.

Affection, Arthur felt, was meant for the bedroom. He was very different most of the time to how he was mid-coital. He was much more vulnerable, more likely to tell the truth and whisper sweet endearments – things he would never normally say.

“Okay,” he nodded. “I’ll be there.” He wasn’t overly keen on cinema food, but he’d keep that to himself. He didn’t need to complain about that, too.

Alfred just laughed a bit and he nodded in agreement. Honestly, half of the time he decided to go in a taxi or a subway himself. Just because he had lived in New York for quite a while definitely did not mean he knew his way around. The city was one of the largest in the world and it would be nearly impossible for anyone to fully know their way around. They would of have to live in the city for a very, very long time. Maybe their whole lives if he thought about it.

Alfred soon started the car again as the light turned green and he quickly made his way back to the work place though definitely not at the speed that he went earlier before. He didn't really notice the couple though at the same time, he normally didn't notice small things like that. It was most likely because he was too used to the sight and he never really paid much mind to it. It was rather common out here in the United States to show public signs of affection. He really wished that he could do it with Arthur but he knew that his hopes were just a bit too high at the moment.

He knew that Arthur's affections were more for the bedroom and he decided that was just fine. As long as he got some in the end. He couldn't wait for tonight now. They just needed to get past this horribly long day and then they would be good! He just hummed happily to himself as they drove back and even though it took an hour, they finally managed to get back to the work place.

Arthur replicated the silence for the rest of the journey. But it was a comfortable silence and not awkward. He didn’t feel as though he had to say anything, and to just enjoy the presence of the American. It was nice.

When they arrived at their destination, Arthur turned to Alfred and smiled quickly. “Thank you for the lift, Jones.” He unfastened his seatbelt and clambered out of the car, adjusting his suit beneath his coat as he did so. He waited a few moments for Alfred to also get out of the car before heading towards the building. “You can break for lunch now, if you’d like. I have some paperwork I need to finish before I get bombarded with phone calls this afternoon.”

He looked back over his shoulder at Alfred, humming quietly to himself before he headed straight for the elevator to take him to the floor of their office. He was certain that the afternoon was going to drag by now that they had plans. All he would be able to do was to endure it. He heaved a sigh, glancing at his watch.

Six hours until their date.

Six hours later, Alfred found himself at the door of the movie theatre, patiently waiting for Arthur to come along. He decided to dress in just a white button up shirt and nice, clean dark trousers since he didn't want to over do it nor did he necessarily want to be too casual. It was a date after all! There was nothing wrong wearing anything like this. Admittedly he was a bit nervous and he simply hoped that Arthur would actually enjoy the movie.

In his hands, he held the movie tickets that he had bought earlier just for Arthur and himself. He glanced around outside, hoping that he would see his boss soon. He couldn't help but smile a bit to himself at the very thought of it, cheeks slightly red. It was a long day that day but tonight was going to be all worth it. They would finally have their alone time once again and that in itself would just be wonderful.

Without any kissing limit, Alfred was a happy man.

He looked at his watch, shifting around in his spot as he felt the nervousness well up within him. Arthur should be here any moment.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Sun Oct 23, 2011 11:22 am

It was a long day after that. Arthur got at least five phone calls from Feliciano, who was desperate to discuss his boundaries. He was keen, that was for sure. It was somewhat endearing, actually. The Italian was often difficult to understand when he got over-excited and occasionally reverted back to Italian as a result. He certainly was an energetic speaker. He had spent the rest of the day on the computer, doing complicated sums to work out the potential cost of giving all of the freedom that Feliciano was asking for with this project (for fabric, models and seamstresses).

It almost made Arthur want to sit down and sketch designs, or even make them. He knew how to sew and embroider. It was the only vaguely domestic task that he was any good at (aside from cleaning). And Arthur thought he was an alright cook, although that blatantly wasn’t the case.

He had rushed home from work, having had to stay an extra ten minutes after work to speak to his supervisor. He was running late, basically. He’d barely had time to do anything when he finally made it back to his flat. He’d showered quickly and changed into a similar outfit to Alfred. A shirt with his coat over the top and black slacks; the sleeves were rolled up to his elbows. The taxi was late and he burnt his tongue on his cup of tea he’d made whilst waiting.

Overall, he was probably about ten minutes late. Once he’d paid the driver (a little reluctantly due to his lateness), he climbed out of the car and jogged, heading for where Alfred was standing. He couldn’t help but feel bad.

Out of breath, he looked up apologetically at the American. “I’m sorry, Alfred. I got caught up at work and…” he trailed off, trying to recompose himself when he realised how undignified he must have looked.

Alfred was actually rather surprised that Arthur hadn't come in time but he continued on reassuring himself that there was nothing to really worry about. The other was probably just a bit late! He wouldn't leave him alone, especially when he said that he wanted to come to the movies in the first place. Yet as ten minutes passed by, he got a bit worried. Arthur usually was never this late for anything. Though when he thought about it, it could have just been the traffic and maybe work.

Of course that was the case. Arthur was too respectable of a man to ever leave someone hanging during a date.

Much to the American's relief, he finally caught sight of Arthur and he smiled, finally placed at ease as he stepped forward as he looked down at Arthur. He just reached up and brushed the other's somewhat messed up hair gently with his fingers before grinning even more. "Hey, hey. It's alright. Work is work and you're a busy man!" He laughed as he held the tickets up.

"Bought the tickets by the way! So let's go!" He urged as he gave a ticket to Arthur and headed inside, chattering excitedly about the movie. He was horribly excited for it and now that Arthur was here, he could feel his excitement rise even more. Though there was still that worry about actually pleasing Arthur. What if the other didn't like the movie or anything? What if he got bored? No! He couldn't get bored with a movie like this!

He heard amazing things about the movie! Alfred just smiled and glanced over at Arthur and no matter how tired he looked and maybe a bit out of breath, he couldn't help but think that he still looked rather dashing. Maybe that was the romantic inside of him talking though.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Sun Oct 23, 2011 11:45 am

Arthur’s breath hitched slightly as he felt Alfred’s fingers in his hair. It was a pleasant feeling, but it felt oddly intimate, too affectionate for a second date. Not that it had felt bad, it had felt wonderful but it amazed him how Alfred could already feel so at ease with him to willing adjust his hair. That stupid grin of his didn’t help, either. Arthur felt his heart flutter, gazing up at him in what one might call an adoring manner. Bloody attractive American being so bloody lovely, he scoffed inwardly.

“Nonetheless, it was unkind of me,” he mumbled.

He raised an eyebrow at the sight of the tickets. He had been planning to pay for this, as Alfred had already spent so much money on him. He’d have to pay him back the money somehow. His expression remained neutral, indifferent as he followed Alfred into the cinema. His first time in an American ‘movie theatre’. It was quite bizarre. This time last year, he would have never have thought that he’d be in some entirely different country, thousands of miles away from Big Ben and the Queen.

He spotted the confectionary area (because popcorn counted as confectionary to Arthur), and furrowed his brow. His hand ghosted over Alfred’s forearm, coming to a halt.

“Would you like anything to eat?” it seemed like a reasonable thing to ask, considering the vast amount of food Alfred seemed to eat everyday. He would insist on paying for this. He wasn’t going to let Alfred waste all of his money in one evening. Arthur knew he could afford it, but he wasn’t so sure that his date could. “Or drink, for that fact?”

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Assistant Jones Sun Oct 23, 2011 11:53 am

Alfred didn't really seem to pay much mind to the fact that he was so intimately touching Arthur. As an American, it was much easier for him to be more open and touchy than most other people. It was completely normal for him though there was always a sense of affection with how he touched the Briton. Especially with how kindly he always smiled at him and how gentle his touches really were with the other. He knew that if it was anyone else, the touches wouldn't nearly be as kind and gentle and most definitely affectionate.

The assistant simply shook his head, blue eyes glinting in amusement and mirth as he just chuckled. "It's fine, it's fine. You didn't do anything unkind! It's completely normal in New York! Traffic holds people up all the time and you're still learning your way through here." He reassured, not wanting the other to feel horrid about being late. "After all, I'm pretty much always late for work." He joked and sadly enough, it was always the truth.

He couldn't help but wonder what the theatres were like over there in England. Were they a lot different than American movie theatres? He couldn't really imagine that being the case though. Alfred also couldn't help but wonder if he would eve be able to visit England. He always held an interest of at least visiting there once or twice. He could imagine that it was really nice and of course a lot easier for him to navigate through since they all spoke English over there.

No matter how weird and different their English was.

Feeling Arthur's hand ghost over his forearm, Alfred stopped for a moment and soon glanced over at the food. "Oh! Sure!" He grinned widely, holding the intentions of paying for the food. Which was probably why he didn't seem to lax on what he ordered, which included a large popcorn, various candies, a large drink and much more. He soon glanced back at Arthur, raising his eyebrows.

"You want to get something? I can pay!"

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Sun Oct 23, 2011 12:16 pm

“Hmm,” Arthur grunted, putting an end to the conversation. Lateness, he felt, was neither a good quality nor something to laugh about. It was extraordinarily rude in his opinion… unless there was a good reason for it, of course. He often could be a hypocrite about these things.

He could only hope that the small, tender touches would continue throughout the evening. They were pleasant. It made him feel wanted, something he hadn’t felt for a long time. Alfred wanted him. He wanted him there at the cinema with him, sat beside him. He could only hope that Alfred didn’t attempt to yawn and put his arm around Arthur, as though it was a strategic afterthought. His lips perked upwards slightly at the idea. That sounded terribly like something the boy would do.

The vast amount of food Alfred ordered made Arthur’s eyes widen. How on earth could he eat so much and stay so slim? It seemed impossible. It was impossible. Alfred must have been taking supplement tablets or something, he decided with a frown. Not only was it unhealthy, but this bill was going to be rather large.

He spluttered for a moment. “Ah, actually, Alfred, I was going to offer to pay.” He realised how unassertive that had sounded and then cleared his throat. “I’ll pay for it, seeing as you bought the tickets.”

He didn’t order anything for himself and before Alfred could protest, he had already gotten his wallet out to pay. Once he’d handed over the money, he stared at the large number of items in front of them. He stuffed his wallet back in his pocket.

“Will you need any help carrying this?”

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Assistant Jones Sun Oct 23, 2011 12:29 pm

Alfred decided not to talk about the late thing anymore. Maybe the other really didn't want to talk about it and he felt bad. He decided to just drop the subject for right now. After all, Arthur was still his boss and even though he knew that he was always late, it didn't mean that he should talk or joke about being late in the workplace. No matter how close they were on a personal level.

Of course the small, tender touches would continue throughout the night. Alfred was simply too much of a touchy person to not go without it, especially when he was going with his boyfriend. It was still so weird to call Arthur that...boyfriend. Yet that was what he was. Wasn't it? Maybe he could wrap an arm around Arthur's waist as well. That was romantic, right?

It wasn't as if there was going to be anyone there that they really knew. New York City was way too big! There was just absolutely no way!

Alfred couldn't help but feel guilty though the moment he saw Arthur pay for his food and then not get any for himself. Though despite this, he knew that it would be rude for him to give money back to Arthur so instead he smiled. "Thanks Arthur!" And with that, he started to grab the food into his arms, blushing slightly. He couldn't help himself. No one ever paid for anything for him.

The assistant simply shook his head as he started to head towards the movie theatre, humming a bit to himself. "Nah! I'm fine! Let's go, let's go! Wanna sit in the back or the front?" He asked as he stepped inside, noticing that there were still some back rows free though most of the front seemed to be filled.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Sun Oct 23, 2011 12:42 pm

Arthur took a different stance on public displays of affection: he didn’t like it. He wouldn’t want to disappoint Alfred, but there was very little chance of him bearing to hold hands in public, let alone have someone’s arm around his waist. He exhaled, walking in silence beside the American to their screen. He mutely stared straight ahead, eyes blinking in the darkness as his eyes tried to adjust to the new light.

Front or back.

Front would be the place to be if they were really desperate to see the film, or had read the comic book/video game that inspired the film. It would also be in plain sight of everyone and where people were more likely to sit next to them. The back, however, would make it into much more of a romantic, comfortable atmosphere. Much more… cosy. No one would be watching them, and no one would be likely to sit beside them, either. Arthur would feel more inclined to cuddle up against Alfred and would probably enjoy the film a lot more because he would not actually be watching it, but focusing on Alfred instead. That, and Alfred’s undoubtedly loud eating wouldn’t bother as many people. It wasn’t a hard decision.

“Could we sit at the back, please?” he gave Alfred a fleeting glance and headed towards the back of the room, searching for some seats that were more or less entirely out of the light of the projector. He waited to Alfred at the end of a row, almost as though he was waiting for confirmation if the row was okay to sit in.

Post by Assistant Jones Sun Oct 23, 2011 12:46 pm

Alfred just smiled a bit and he nodded, starting to head towards the back. While he would have loved to sit in the front, he was with a date and he wouldn't mind being in the back this time around. He could still enjoy the film from all the way back here and he just simply wanted to make Arthur feel as comfortable as possible. Especially since he knew that the Englishman wasn't to keen on public displays of affection. At least that was what he could tell offhand. It just seemed to be a part of his personality even if the other never implied it as such.

So he soon scooted to the back row and settled into some seats that seemed to shroud them completely in darkness other than the light from the big screen in front. Yet other than that, they were completely shrouded in darkness and in fact, he didn't really care. As long as Arthur was comfortable.

Soon Alfred started to place all of his food on the side as he eagerly started to eat the popcorn, eyes focused on the screen as the previews started to play. It was kind of funny how the previews were sometimes the best part of the whole movie itself. The American soon glanced over at Arthur, a kind smile on his lips as he waited for him to sit down. "Hey, if you ever wanna eat or something, I have food here that I can share with you!"

Arthur took his place next to his date, shrugging out of his coat, which he folded neatly to rest over his lap. He could only hope that Alfred didn’t mind sitting away from everyone, seeing as he seemed to quite the social butterfly at work. Arthur preferred quiet and being on his own; splendid isolation. He smoothed out the fabric of his coat and eventually found himself staring at the screen, displaying little interest in the adverts shown. Cinema wasn’t really his thing and he knew that he was unlikely to go and see anything in the cinema without Alfred, or that Alfred had suggested to see.

He got comfortable, leaning his back flat against the seat.

“Um, perhaps later,” Arthur smiled as politely as he could muster, refusing the food. “Thank you, though…” grease didn’t sound appealing to him, but if Alfred enjoyed it, he could not deny him such simple pleasures. Although, he did hope that Alfred wouldn’t be eating for the entire duration. He would have liked to steal a few kisses and cuddle, but maybe that was too much to ask for on a second date.

He turned back to the screen for a few minutes, sitting in silence for a while. He pulled his phone out from his pocket, switching it off before he tapped the other’s arm gently.

“So, what is this supposed to be about?” he asked, voice already in a whisper despite the film having not started.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Assistant Jones Sun Oct 23, 2011 1:06 pm

Alfred continued on eating, deciding that it was a splendid idea to eat some popcorn first before the movie actually started. By eating some popcorn, he meant eat the whole entire thing. Fortunately enough for him, his hunger didn't deplete that easily so he was able to eat as much of the food he bought as he wanted. Despite being a social butterfly, Alfred knew that his attention would most likely be on the movie so it really didn't matter all that much about who was around him. In fact, it was better that they were in the back considering that people always seemed to talk during the movies that he actually wanted to watch! Unlike Arthur, Alfred was a huge movie goer and if he had the money, he would go every weekend because they were simply that great.

Soon the American laid back on his seat as well, smiling at that. "Alright. Don't hesitate on telling if you do get a bit hungry!" He reassured with a grin as he finally put his food down, eyes staring intently on the screen. He didn't want to move things too fast between them and he was a bit scared that maybe a few kisses and cuddling would be a bit too much for Arthur. There was no harm in trying during the movie though.

Feeling the taps on his arm, Alfred glanced curiously over at the Englishman and he hummed, thinking about it. He grinned widely. "Superheroes and the like! It's pretty cool! You just have to watch it! The previews looked amazing!" He nodded in agreement as he soon glanced back. Alright. So maybe he did have a bit of a secret love for heroes and all the like but that was besides the point. This looked extremely good and he couldn't wait to see it.

Finally the movie began to play and despite his interest, Alfred found himself leaning a bit closer to Arthur.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Sun Oct 23, 2011 1:23 pm

Superheroes? Well, at least it explained the trailer for the next Superman film that they’d just seen. Arthur had never really caught on to the comic book craze or superheroes. He was rather pessimistic and so the idea of a ‘hero’ seemed rather redundant to him. He would at least have to focus for the first ten minutes before Alfred, his body barely inches away, distracted him too much. Else, he’d have no idea what was going on.

Arthur’s arm shifted a little, lightly pressing against Alfred’s, although it was unintentional. It was a pleasant pressure; reassurance that Alfred was at his side which was comforting in the darkness.

He tried desperately to concentrate, managing to pick up the gist of the plot so far at least, but it failed to impress him too much. It looked like it was going to be a film bursting with white-teethed, rich American men with the occasion beautiful woman in there as the damsel. His eyes flickered to Alfred, whose face was illuminated by the screen, an ethereal blue colour. He looked so exuberant, so happy to be watching the film as though it was an honour to be there. It was sweet and as much as he wanted to lean over and kiss him, he knew that Alfred had been looking forward to seeing the film and did not want to distract him too much. He instead leaned against him, his head dropping to rest on Alfred’s shoulder, his hand reaching for his.

They could be comfortable like this. Arthur could restrain himself. Of course he could. He wasn’t some hormonal teenager, after all.

He sighed softly, nuzzling against the American to try to find a better position to lay his face on him.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Assistant Jones Fri Oct 28, 2011 1:22 am

Alfred absolutely adored the idea of heroes and just hearing about it made him an excited mess. Even as a young child, the American was more than adamant on trying to get all the comic books he could about the Marvel heroes and more, try doing heroic deeds and even as a grown man, he felt a necessity in helping others. He felt a desire to do such things. He loved superheroes and just heroes in general and at times, he wished he was one as well.

Already, the American assistant was completely fascinated with the movie and his bright wide blue eyes were staring ever so amazed at the screen. Still, he pressed slightly against Arthur, never forgetting about him because despite how exciting the movie was, he couldn't forget about his date. In the end, he really didn't want to forget him. They were watching this movie together, even if Arthur might not particularly like this theme.

The film was indeed one filled with white-teethed American men with a beautiful woman and all the rest. Sometimes, Alfred wished he had something like that or had someone to save but when he glanced back at Arthur, he couldn't help but think that well... Maybe he preferred this instead. He was admittedly a bit surprised when he felt Arthur suddenly lean against him and rest his head against his shoulder. He took in a soft breath and honestly, he never expected Arthur to actually be this affectionate in a public place.

This was really nice. He could deal with this.

Alfred soon reached up to lightly stroke Arthur's hair, enjoying the sensation of the other's hair against his fingers. Finally as the film started to slow down in its plot , the American glanced over at his date with a small smile, just focusing on him at that moment. How couldn't he? His date was absolutely lovely as he kept himself close and all he could do was just watch him quietly with a fond smile.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

With no hand to hold in his own, Arthur simply rested his hands in his lap, continuing to lean against Alfred. He hadn’t expected fingers to be threaded through his hair but he didn’t complain; it was pleasant. He was perfectly happy to stay there, in that position but he soon felt Alfred’s gaze upon him.

He blushed (and much to his chagrin, it was still visible in the dim light of the screen). He shifted awkwardly for a few minutes until he realised that Alfred probably wasn’t going to stop until he acknowledged him. In a way, he supposed that he should have been flattered that he was watching him, rather than the film. But his gaze was making him nervous. His green eyes flickered up to look at Alfred’s blue ones.

It was quite an effort for Arthur to be this affectionate publically, even in the shadows where no one was sat. He turned his head slightly and pressed a kiss to his shoulder before re-settling himself again to have hi face turned to the screen. There was a slight smile upon his lips as he still thought about how he’d been able to distract Alfred’s attention, even if only for a few moments, from the big screen.

The film, as Arthur had predicted, was pretty awful in his opinion but at least the main protagonists were easy on the eyes, which quite easily sidetracked Arthur from its lack of plot. He was pretty sure that the lead was about to ‘make his move’ on the pretty blonde girl. It was all too predictable.

He closed his eyes for a few long moments to enjoy Alfred’s warmth against his body before re-opening them slowly.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Alfred hated keeping his hands idle and so he found that it was just perfect for him to actually occupy his hands with simply stroking the other's hair. He loved feeling the soft yet messy looking blonde hair through his fingers. It was absolutely perfect actually. It also didn't seem as if Arthur was complaining about it either (unlike what he usually did at the work place, complaining about many, many things but that was besides the point). So far, it seemed that despite Arthur's lack of interest in the movie, his date was still enjoying the date together.

Honestly, Alfred was never that interested in when the lead makes his move on the beautiful blonde girl. He found the parts usually boring and he preferred the explosions, the car chases and the destruction of the bad guys! Yet right now, it made him pay more attention towards Arthur and just seeing that slight blush and smile on his face...it was nice.

He really didn't care about the movie at that moment (until the explosions and gun fights came again) and instead he leant a bit closer to Arthur.

He knew that the other was rather hesitant in public displays of affection. In fact, he hinted this many times and Alfred was admittedly hesitant on making a move yet he really couldn't help himself. Arthur was his date and he had a right to at least try! So Alfred continued on feeling the other's warmth, enjoying it as much as he could before he slowly pulled Arthur closer and he leant in.

He allowed his breath to ghost over Arthur's lips for just a moment before he leant in just a bit more to try kissing him on the lips. It seemed as if the protagonist was making his move as well in the film yet Alfred couldn't bring himself to glance over at the big screen at the moment.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Fri Oct 28, 2011 2:25 am

He felt Alfred moving towards him and turned his head, looking up at him with one thick eyebrow arched. He suddenly realised how close they were, Alfred’s breath tickling his lips which sent shudders rippling through his body. His own breathing was shallow, hitching in his throat as he gazed back at the American.

When their lips met, he sighed into the kiss, allowing himself to let go a little and kiss him back. He was stiff at first but gradually loosened up and pillowed his lips against the American’s. It was sweet – almost like something out of a teenage romance story. Two young people kissing in the back of the cinema. Well, Arthur didn’t really consider himself young anymore but he certainly felt it when he was with Alfred.

He raised a hand, fingertips holding on to his chin as they kissed. Arthur was the one to pull away first, though but he didn’t move too far away. In fact, he barely moved at all and stayed within nose-touching distance of Alfred. His hand drifted away and instead went to rest on his chest.

Arthur was completely silent, worried of either ruining the tranquillity between them both or disturbing someone a few rows in front of them which would only result in them getting thrown out of the cinema.

Alfred could feel the shudder running down Arthur's body and it felt good that he could actually get that reaction out of his own boss. His own breathing was shallow from the slight nervousness though he tried to hide it, no matter how badly he was failing at hiding this.

To feel their lips meet together and to just drown out everything around them...it was perfect. Maybe it wasn't their best kiss or anything like that but still, it was sweet and it was kind of romantic. At least it was romantic in Alfred's eyes though he was a bit more 'childish' with his ideas of dates. Though he always found them to be more exciting than doing what most adults did.

Whatever they did. Probably go to a museum or something and enjoy art... Something like that. He didn't know.

Even though the assistant wanted to pay attention to the movie, he couldn't bring himself to do such a thing anymore. Especially when Arthur was so close to him, their noses lightly touching each other's. Okay so maybe he was being a bit cheesy but he really couldn't bring himself to care all that much about that. Alfred didn't dare to ruin the tranquility between them though he didn't necessarily care about disturbing someone in front of them. As long as they were quiet, it would be fine.

He couldn't help but lean forward again and press another kiss on his lips, this time a bit more firm though still not frantic or passionate. Just feeling and enjoying the other's lips against his own, the warmth in contrast to the cold of the cinema itself. It was amazing how Arthur could just warm him up deep inside.

Arthur’s hand ran over the fabric of his shirt and then to his neck, palm flat against his skin. His lips moved with Alfred’s, not pushing the kiss to be any deeper or any more passionate but this kiss had more presence, if that made any sense. The previous had just been a peck in comparison to this.

He could only hope that Alfred wasn’t going to miss too much of the film (despite the fact that he would much rather be kissed than have to stare at the bloody boring film). It was pleasurable to sit there and be kissed. He smiled against Alfred’s lips, shifting himself closer. His leg was comfortably pressed against Alfred’s now, his torso turned to face him. Alfred had his full attention. Arthur’s eyes slid shut, his head tilting slightly to one side so that they could fit together better.

They stayed like that for some time before Arthur pressed another quick kiss to his lips, having to pause to breathe again. He kept forgetting to breathe through his nose, which he knew was more than a bit stupid but he couldn’t help it. He kept his eyes closed, blindly searching for Alfred’s mouth again. He brushed their lips over one another, taking his time to do so.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Alfred found that he was starting to really enjoy the kiss (though he had enjoyed it from the beginning) and while it definitely wasn't passionate, he certainly could feel the presence. He also could feel the other's hand running over the fabric of his shirt and then against his skin and he simply pressed a bit more into the kiss, trying to keep their bodies close despite the movie chair arm.

While he definitely did enjoy the film, a lot more than Arthur, he knew that he could watch it later. Right now, Arthur was sitting right there, wanting to be kissed and who was he to deny him? It was all worth missing a part of the movie when he felt the smile against his lips and just felt how he shifted closer to himself.

Feeling their lips slide together better, Alfred pressed his leg just a bit closer against Arthur's own and his own eyes slid shut though he felt a bit disappointed when the kiss was broken. Yet he decided to take a quick breath because it was so hard to breathe while kissing, especially when he was so distracted with the feelings of the kiss.

Yet he soon blindly searched for the other's lips as well, feeling the corner of Arthur's lips against his own and he soon slid his lips just a bit more to the side so he could press a more full kiss again. Alfred tried his hardest to breathe through his nose though it was hard while he focused on just how the kiss felt. It felt really good. Arthur was a pretty good kisser.

Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18] - Page 13 Empty Re: Same Job, Different Time and Place [R-18]

Post by Mr. Kirkland Fri Oct 28, 2011 3:31 am

Arthur couldn’t help but feel smug as he felt Alfred searching to join their lips together again. He took advantage of Alfred’s mouth this time, engulfing Alfred’s mouth with his own. He had more or less forgotten the people around them in the darkness. It was just him and Alfred. It was hard to think of anyone or anything else when Alfred’s cologne, his lips, his tongue, his breath, his skin and, God, just Alfred was overwhelming him.

Alfred’s lips against his own were absolutely heaven-sent. He couldn’t help but melt at the American’s touch, just ever so slightly. He nipped Alfred’s lower lip teasingly, going back in to kiss him thoroughly again only moments later. Arthur wound one of his legs around Alfred’s closest leg. It wasn’t a huge gesture; it was pretty much just him curling his ankle around Alfred’s shin.

He tried to remember to breathe this time, too. He didn’t really want to pull away but he also knew that if he kept kissing Alfred then he was likely to try and take it too far. He didn’t really trust himself with young, hot-blooded American such as Alfred. If things went too far, he knew that he was extremely likely to climb on top of him and have his wicked way. But they were in a cinema. They couldn’t do that. And shouldn’t Arthur supposed to be trying to show Alfred that their relationship would not just be about sex?

Good Lord, that was going to be difficult.
