Halcyon [Mister + Assi] - R-18

Alfred was completely red by then and he swallowed thickly, scratching his cheek sheepishly.

"I guess you're right about that," He mumbled.

He paused for a long moment before sighing a bit, finally fully relaxing as he looked around the library.

"...It's nice to see you again, Arthur. Though I'm quite tired. Do you have a place for me to sleep tonight at the very least? I don't want to...well...overstay my welcome here."

Arthur smirked, feeling victorious. But it didn’t last long.

“You’re planning on leaving so soon…? Well, I hope that you at least stay for a couple of days. I know that Maddie would appreciate it. She spends a lot of time on her own, you know.” He wouldn’t elaborate as he thought that it was already obvious that, that was because Arthur didn’t like to spend too much time with her.

“And, of course, I would enjoy your company, as well.”

He stood up and went to open the door, holding it for Alfred.

“Yes, there is a bed prepared for you. Ask one of the servants and they will escort you there. I hope that you sleep well…”

Alfred hesitated at that before slowly nodding.

"As long as I'm not bothering the wedded couple, then I am happy to stay for any amount of time. I really haven't planned where I was to go next in my travels," He admitted with a soft sigh.

"And it's awfully cold outside."

He soon headed towards the door, softly thanking Arthur before turning towards him one more time.

"...I suppose I can stay for a few more days. Thank you for your hospitality, Arthur."

And with that, he headed out of the room to find a servant so he could sleep for the night.

“Honestly Alfred, there is nothing to disturb. The only thing that we have planned is the speech I have to give at the new school that’s been built.” One of the few public appearances that Arthur didn’t mind doing. Madeline would be visiting a seamstress that day, as well. They were trying to boost the popularity of the royal family and it was going relatively well, considering that everyone loved Madeline. For the past three years, they had celebrated her birthday with a festival.

He just gave a small smile.

“Of course,” he murmured. “Good night, Alfred.”

He watched Alfred leave before turning back to look at the unfinished bowl of soup.

That certainly was not how Arthur had planned their reunion would be, should they ever have one. He had thought that they would be unable to keep their hands off of each other.

But three years was three years.

Arthur grabbed his cape and headed off to bed himself, spending the remainder of the night thinking about Alfred.

Alfred just smiled at Arthur before he finally wished him a good night and left to his bedroom. It was weird...he was used to being in his own castle with Arthur.

Now he felt a bit...distant. He knew that Arthur still cared about him, despite the fact that Alfred told him to forget about him and to love Madeline. Yet...it didn't seem like that could really be the case.

For most of the night, Alfred thought about Arthur all night as he tossed and turned in his sleep. In the end, he was just glad that he had a bed to sleep on and that he was near Arthur and his own sister.

The next morning, Alfred woke up rather early and feeling the cold of the air biting at his skin, he quickly hurried to take a bath. Simply asking a servant where the baths were, Alfred hurried to one of them and prepared the water himself.

He needed to get into the hot water. The castle was much too cold for him right now and he still felt dirty from all of his days of travel. Soon he began stripping off his clothes.

Arthur was somewhat of an early bird. He’d been up for an hour or so, having already had breakfast and attended to some of his duties. He’d had a long conversation with his father to let him know that Alfred was there and that he would be staying for a few days. Secretly, Arthur hoped it would be more than a few days considering how harsh the winter was and how difficult it would be for Alfred to travel anywhere in such bad conditions (and he also just wanted to spend time with him).

But now he needed a bath, as was his routine on cold winter days. He would bathe frequently so that he was never too cold. And last night had been particularly cold.

He headed up to where one of the baths were located, knowing that he could use the fireplace to heat up water to take a bath.

What he was not expecting, however, was to open the door and be greeted with the sight of someone’s bare body.

Arthur froze, face losing all colour.

Alfred hadn't noticed Arthur as he came in and instead he stretched out with a soft sigh. He folded his clothes up into a neat stack before leaning over the tub so he could test the water with his hand.

The water was still a bit too hot, so he went to grab some colder water to pour into the hot war just to at least help make it into a more comfortable temperature.

Yet soon he turned around, stiffening when he saw Arthur standing at the door.

"Ah...! ...Arthur," He murmured, dazed and shocked though not really making any attempt to cover himself just from the shock.

Good Lord, it was huge. Arthur couldn’t stop staring at it.

It couldn’t possibly be legal for Alfred to have something like that swinging between his legs?!

Arthur gulped, trying to look at something else, anything else. But he just ended up looking at Alfred’s chest and backside and abdominal muscles instead. He could feel his mouth salivating.

But then he tore his gaze away, quickly going red. He shut the door and shielded his eyes.

“Cover yourself, man!”

It was a few moments of complete stillness and silence and admittedly, Alfred felt rather awkward though flustered all at the same time. He really couldn't let the thought settle in his head that well, he was naked right in front of Arthur.

Yet soon as the door was shut and he heard Arthur yell, Alfred quickly reddened and jumped into action. Grabbing a towel, he covered his waist with it though he was still extremely flustered.

Soon enough he went to the door, slowly opening it again as he peeked out to find Arthur.

"...Arthur? Uh-- I'm covered now. You can come in," He mumbled.

Well...maybe he shouldn't have invited him in and in fact, that was extremely awkward but still...!

Arthur was quick to go inside, hurrying Alfred along in case someone saw. He shut the door behind him and then wondered why he’d gone inside again if it was obvious that Alfred was having a bath.

Normally, Arthur wouldn’t be that bothered by a naked man. But this was Alfred. And he really couldn’t believe how much he’d grown.

“You weren’t kidding about being bigger, eh?” he said nervously before he could help himself.

Alfred was still red and he just laughed a bit nervously, feeling a bit awkward with Arthur's words.

...Did he really just call him big?

He had been joking. He really didn't even know what was average amongst men and so he never really had a great comparison, if he had to be completely honest.

"I...I suppose so," He mumbled, not really knowing what to think.

Despite everything, Alfred couldn't help but glance down at Arthur...maybe a bit below his face or chest area.

...Had he grown also?

The tension was rising.

Arthur swallowed thickly, not really sure what to say. He couldn’t believe that he’d said what he just said, after all. He stared blankly up at Alfred for a few moments.

His heart was racing. This was the most flesh he had seen for three years and it was making his body react. Especially because of who it was and how bloody attractive he’d become. It was extremely hard to concentrate with Alfred wearing so little and he had no reason to be in there now that Alfred was going to take a bath, meaning that he couldn’t.

He noticed Alfred’s gaze and something inside of him snapped.

Arthur took a step forwards, cupped Alfred’s face in his hands and leaned up to kiss him. It was all incredibly sudden and honestly, Arthur wasn’t really sure what he was doing or what he intended to do but Alfred was there and in front of him, and just so real and so much better than all of his fantasies.

If there was anything that Alfred had been expecting, it was definitely not Arthur suddenly coming up to him and kissing him.

In fact, that was the farthest thing that he was expecting. ...Especially because he was married now to Madeline. But something inside of Alfred snapped also and soon he was tugging and pulling at Arthur, pulling him closer as he kissed him right back.

Soon he pressed his hips against Arthur's own, trying to keep his towel held up as his hands became more occupied with just holding onto the other prince. His heart was pounding as he kissed Arthur and it was so wrong. So much worse than their innocent kisses as children.

Arthur didn’t really know what he was doing and surprised himself by doing so.

His fingers immediately began to comb through Alfred’s hair, pulling him closer and closer to kiss him deeply. He let out a small whine against Alfred’s lips, proof of just how much he had wanted to kiss and hold Alfred for the years they had been apart.

He misinterpreted the action of Alfred pressing his hips against Arthur’s. Arthur just pressed back; the thought that there was just a bit of fabric covering Alfred’s dignity was indeed a lovely one.

This was wrong on so many levels. He was betraying Madeline, betraying his kingdom, betraying God but he didn’t care. Something carnal inside of Arthur was released and he just wanted more and more of Alfred. It was selfish really but as Alfred had said a few years ago:

They were both going to hell anyway.

Alfred knew that this was wrong. He knew that it was terribly wrong but he was never the one who was able to say no. Especially when Arthur pretty much threw himself on him. How was he to deny his one and only love? Even he had no mind of doing such a thing, no matter how terrible he knew this was.

What was to happen to them both though? They were to surely go to hell. Was it right for him to try seducing Arthur when he was already married to Madeline?

Soon enough he pulled away from the kiss though he still kept his hips against Arthur's own. He gasped for breath as he leant his head back slightly.

"We shouldn't be doing this, my prince," He gasped out, swallowing thickly. "It's not in my place to try and seduce a married man... I'm a man of the worst order."

Despite his words, Alfred just wanted more and the way his body shook, it was obvious that he only wanted more.

It had been three long years and he just wanted to hold Arthur close.

Arthur panted slightly as Alfred pulled away. He immediately felt bad, noticing how Alfred’s head was strained backwards. He swallowed thickly, guilt beginning to wash over him. After all, Alfred had said that Arthur was the only one he’d loved, that didn’t mean that he still felt anything towards him.

He took a step back, away from Alfred. He looked at him fearfully, waiting to be shouted at.

“I-I… forgive me, I thought that… I don’t know what I thought…” he began to look as though he might run away.

All he could think of was that Alfred didn’t want him. And he shouldn’t have been surprised.

Alfred looked rather surprised by how freaked out Arthur looked and he swallowed thickly. Though soon he had to hurry to grab his towel so it wouldn't completely fall down.

That wasn't his intention at all.

He didn't want Arthur to be scared about the possibility of him being angry at him.

Yet soon he decided 'fuck it' and stepped forward so he could grab Arthur's shoulder and pull him forward. Soon he leant forward to kiss him deeply once again, not really knowing what to say.

He had never been a man good with his words.

Arthur didn’t let his eyes flicker down to watch the towel fall slightly.

He let out a muffled sound of shock as Alfred pulled him into another kiss. It was confusing, sending him mixed messages. He didn’t really know what to do now that Alfred had told him to stop once already. He placed his hand on Alfred’s chest to brace himself, without really thinking. Alfred’s warm skin felt nice beneath his palm.

He was the one to break the kiss this time, although he didn’t pull away like Alfred had done.

“What do you want?” he asked, voice a little gruff. He was exceptionally confused.

Alfred took in a shuddered breath, swallowing thickly and a bit unpleasantly. He never knew that it was so hard to speak out his mind. Speak out his desires.

He was so used to saying whatever he wanted but now, it was so much harder.

Even if Alfred knew exactly what he wanted.

"This is so wrong," He whispered softly. "We've been betraying Madeline. God...and more."

His lips quivered a bit.

"But not once had I ever stopped wanting you."

Arthur’s brow furrowed a bit, looking at Alfred seriously. His lips were ghosting Alfred’s, able to feel the other’s lips moving as he spoke. He gulped but didn’t move away, listening to Alfred.

“I know,” he murmured, sounding solemn. “But I do not believe for one moment that Madeline loves me. I certainly do not love her… and God? No God of mine would wish death upon me for who I love.”

He reached up with his other hand and caressed Alfred’s cheek slowly. Alfred’s words went straight to his nether regions. He tried to smile a little.

“And I, you…”

Alfred sighed softly against Arthur's lips and he felt terrible. Terrible in a way that he knew that Arthur had to be married to someone that he didn't love. But it was with that marriage that brought them both together.

Yet he still couldn't get over how terrible he was. Would he ever be forgiven?

He just cupped Arthur's cheek, slowly caressing it with his thumb.

"I wish I could take you away from here and bring you with me on my travels. Forget this life. Sometimes I wonder how it was I, not my sister, that managed to have you."

Arthur leaned into the touch, beginning to feel sad now that Alfred was talking so seriously.

“I quite agree… I would love to see the world with you, my love,” his voice was soft, quiet as though someone might hear them. “I often wonder how it would be if you and I were the married ones, too,” he smiled a little crookedly, still sombre. “I would want to be with you every passing hour of everyday. And at night, when we were alone, I’d make love to you,” he held Alfred’s gaze. “All night, every night. We would never have to worry about anything because it’d be so, so right and perfect.”

He let out a sigh.

“I want you so badly, Alfred.”

Alfred just quietly watched Arthur as he spoked and his heart pounded in his chest. Oh how much he wanted that. How much he wanted Arthur and to be with him and to even be married with him.

If only he was in Madeline's position.

Oh if only their relationship was accepted by their kingdoms. Then they could have gotten married and still strengthen the kingdoms. If only that was to be.

And the thought of making love with Arthur every night, all night...it was one of the best thoughts that had ever passed his mind.

How scandalous. To have an affair with an married man.

Alfred pressed closer to Arthur, letting out a soft sigh.

"...You have me."

Arthur finally began to smile a little more genuinely at that, the warmth reaching up into his eyes. It seemed that nothing had really changed between them after all.

“And you, me,” he murmured before pecking Alfred on the lips for a few more moments, a lot more chaste than he had been previously.

“You have my heart,” he told him, winding an arm around Alfred’s neck to draw him closer.

"As you have mine," He murmured softly, pecking his lips a few more times before smiling slightly at him.

"You know, I thought you were going to immediately kick me out of the castle when you heard of me coming," He admitted a bit lamely though he was more than happy to be drawn closer to his secret lover.

He let out a soft sigh, glancing over at the bath.

"...The bath water will get cold soon if we keep on like this outside of it."
